Fall Beauty

This week I had a chance to get out at sunrise to do some photography. On Tuesday I headed up to Harriman State Park in New York and on Wednesday I headed over to Ramapo Reservation in New Jersey. Both days were warm with Tuesday being a clear morning which made for some great sunrise photos and Wednesday being overcast and foggy which gave the morning a misty "New England" feel. I hope you enjoy the photos and they help to bring you to that happy place in the corner of your mind.

Hi Mike. Your shots of Harriman spark a lasting memory. I recognize just about every shot as I hiked those areas as a child. Used to live on Seven Lakes Drive and really miss the striking beauty of the trails there. Ever come across the really old cemetery on the red dot trail? No church or anything...just ancient gravestones. Strange.
